      I agree, that's the more reason I prefer my day to day investment decisions being guided by an advisor, seeing that their entire skillset is built around going long and short at the same time both employing risk for its asymmetrical upside and laying off risk as a hedge against the inevitable downward turns, coupled with the exclusive information/analysis they have, it's near impossible to not out-perform, been using my advisor for over 2years+ and I've netted over 2.8million.

      I think this is something I should do, but I've been stalling for a long time now. I don't really know which firm to work with; I feel they are all the same but it seems you’ve got it all worked out with the firm you work with so i surely wouldn’t mind a recommendation.

      Monica has the appearance of being a great authority in her profession. I looked her up online and found her website, which I reviewed and went through to learn more about her credentials, academic background, and employment. She has a fiduciary duty to protect my best interests. I sent her an email outlining my objectives and also booked a session with her; thanks for sharing.

    I will be buying a new house in a couple of years. It appears like I will have to work with a buyers agent. What I want to hear from the agent is exactly what the agent will do for me. I will definitely want value for money. If I am buying a $500K house and the buyers agent commission is 2.5% of the price or $12,500 I expect to receive services worth that much, so at least a full month of the agent's time. I am quite capable of negotiating my own deal and I also understand home construction as well or more likely much better than any agent. I also know exactly what I want. So what I don't want from an agent is the agent wasting a bunch of my time interfering with the way I look at a property or making comments about how great various aspects of a property are. I also don't want a bunch of questions about my personal situation. If I want to look at a house it is because from what I have seen in listings and by personally checking the house out from the road that the house is a prospect and I know exactly what I can afford. Basically if I can't afford a property I won't waste my time looking at it.

    Hey Kevin my name is Andre. I really appreciate all of your content and I am hoping you can answer a quick question for me. I apologize for the length of it but I want to give a quick back story. I am a part time agent. I have co workers at my full time job who have been previous clients with my broker. They constantly approach me, asking me to sell their home but I tell them I don’t want to step on my brokers toes and steal her listing. They approached me again and now I’m considering asking my broker to partner with me by letting me handle the listing and accepting a referral fee. Do you think I should do this? What are your thoughts?

      People dont understand that the prices of things are never going back down. This inflation is deeper than we think. Those buying groceries are well aware that the real inflation is much over 10%. The increments dont match our income, yet certain investors still earn over $365,000 in stocks and assets. Wish I could accomplish that.

    There was also the 900 helots and 400 Thebans that were engaged with the Spartans. The helots being the Greek slaves and the 400 Thebans, but they had to stay with them as a slave has no rights and the Thebans were suspected traitors. On that day after the first clash the Thebans surrendard to the Persains and they had sided with the Persains as many died in the Battle of Plataea in 479 BC. I do not remember if it was the Thespians had the blue capes or if it was the helots, but I do remember that the Spartans during the battle exchange their red capes for the blue ones in honour for their fighting spirit and their comradery.

    It was not only the Spartans, there were many Greeks about 5 or 6 thousand of them. When they were being surrounded by the Persians it was the Thespiae's 700 hoplites remained with the Spartans in the Battle of Thermopylae. They chose to fight and die with the Spartans.
